>>8087823>the paint is markedly better on most import releases than domestic. >using a simplistic low res print stickered on bare plastic>better>not cheaplol
Even fucking Hasbro still uses traditional paint apps WHILE ALSO using that low res sticker (as shading/highlights, instead of the entirety of the paint) for their twenty dollar childrens toys.
>It's not just one aspectSure, but it still isn't 2-4x difference. Again, it's like .50x and that's almost all just from the engineering.
> It's ML quality at best.DCC Icons was superior to MLs, but Hasbro upped their game starting with their OVerwatch line by matching everything DCC was doing and that's almost Figuart levels. But this is moot, since the comparable line is DCC's Premium line, which was basically just a clone of Figuarts but for $30-40 (working electronics for the more expensive figure).
>plastic qualityYou don't know shit. DCC used hard plastics like ABS for almost everything by 2015 or 2016. No more lexan (which is a very expensive high end plastic), because of people hamhanding their B:TAS figures.
>Bandai can actually get it right. You mean that soft sculpt where the majority of the detail comes from a low res photograph? Hue.
>Just because you collect multiple lines doesn't mean you're special. Who said this? Not me. I'm just pointing out that i can actually compare and contrast all these features.
Suck it down that i can actually speak about these lines with my first hand experience.
My bias mainly comes from wanting things to look like they should. You mad? Without a doubt.
