>>11206543>who the fuck wants to play with a bunch of generic planet playsets with little static faceless army men? we need CHARACTERS, dammit. unique units.Shit take, dude. The moons always came with uniquely colored versions of the units from the planets they corresponded to; I used to use them as my 'hero units', making up names and back stories for them as they commanded the generics on all sorts of adventures; I had Planet Bone, Tech, Ice, Rock, Remora and the Beast Planet, and managed to have plenty of fun just using my imagination (I had no clue to what the actual story was supposed to be and still don't to this day); I even had them cross over with my Mighty Max sets for more good times.
Speaking of the Beast Planet, it actually DID come with an actual character among all of the generics - there was a dude that was wearing black glittery armor and had a unique clip-on cape who was intended to be the main bad guy (see pic related) and sat on a little throne inside a red bubble in the top rear half of the planet.
