Materially, it's about equivalent to a Castle Grey Skull which certainly was sold at retail. The problem is playsets are largely just getting too pricey due to inflation and wages of the average person aren't keeping up. So if a kid were to ask for a 200 dollar toy in 1985 (say an NES), their parents would be fine with it. But if a kid asks for a 450 dollar toy today, no way.
