And I say it stays on mostly on friction, especially on the arms. I wouldn't really recommend using any headmasters that have painted arms because of that, since it could rub off the paint. To my knowledge, Primitive Prime's headmaster doesn't have painted arms, so it's not an issue for the figure it was designed for, but still.
