Most bayverse designs, for all their flaws, do get one thing right. You can tell immediately what they can turn into just by looking at them, and you have a basic idea of where everything goes.
Even a previous combiner in the series was able to do this, devastator.
It’s the same contention I have with AOE/TLJ optimus, if you had no context for who optimus prime is, do you honestly think you would be able to figure out that he’s a truck just by looking at him?
