Can we talk about the approaching dumpster fire that is the 2019 Legends lineup? ML has generally been on an upward streak since the line got rebooted in 2014, but holy shit, this is not looking good. The Spider-Man waves have always started the years off amazingly until now, with the Kingpin wave. This will be THE wave that kills ML.
Black Cat, Slott's Symbiote Suit, Night Thrasher, and that fucking terrible Doppleganger/Manspider figure will rot pegs for literal years. Manspider should've been a FOTY candidate, but it's probably the worst ML figure in a long time. The only saving graces are Puma, Silver Sable, and Red Goblin, but those are all pretty niche figures.
If the Kingpin wave doesn't kill the line, the shitty comic figures in the other waves will for sure. Union Jack, Grey Gargoyle, classic Loki, shitty costume Beta Ray Bill, Living Laser- WHAT THE FUCK? This is the equivalent of having a wave consisting of Eel, Cottonmouth, Machine Man, and all the other shitty pegwarmers that have been clogging up shelves for years.
