I guess my recent kaiju binge is to blame, but I've always wondered what nick could have done with the character if toho never threatened to sue. Like Mermaid Man and the Crimson Chin, I've always wanted to see a solo series starring reptar. I found myself drawing art revolving around the idea yesterday, and ended up with a bizarre "shin reptar" concept where in reptar attains super intellegence and strives to become something akin to or greater than humanity by forcing his own dna to mutate. Autistic I know, but I wanted to mention it as it's been on my mind for days.
