>>11055610>Hence my showing the joint that McFarlane created, that Kaiyodo copiedYou haven't proven that they copied it though. All you've shown is that Kaiyodo are aware of/like McFarlane toys. That doesn't prove they directly copied anything.
Again, the two joints are barely alike. They're both spherical universal joints, that's kinda it. And as I keep mentioning and you keep ignoring, Wave's joints (which predate both that McFarlane figure AND Revoltech) are far closer to Revoltech joints in construction and use.
You'd know this if you actually knew anything about toys.
>You've provided no proof of anything but meaningless words that amount to "nuh uh." Your inability to read does not constitute an argument.
>No pictures or anything to back up your contrarian bullshit.Oh I'm sorry, I forget you have the reading capacity of a five year old and can't cope without seeing pictures.
Here- these joints work basically the same way, and have been in production for literal decades. In fact I believe Daibadi's old garage kits made use of them. Same basic principle- a round hinge with a 3mm peg at either end (these ones are made for mecha, hence the grey colour and inset sculpt).
These are actually closer to Revoltech joints than that McFarlane ankle, being specifically intended to be modular and using 3mm pegs, rather than just being a roughly spherical hinge.
But please, keep going "nuh-uh" and screaming about how McFarlane invented spheres and hinges and how Wave time travelled to steal his secret joint design from a single fucking ankle.
