>>10372967The rest of the tail stub is slightly articulated but doesn't pull apart, and the detached tail contains a plastic rod that goes through and the scutes are set around it. It also has a small degree of flexibility. I might as well go over the figure in detail at this point.
The wings are very heavy and the shoulders really should be those heavy duty clicking joints. As it is they went for range of motion over anything sensible. As is it has a wide range of angles you can put the wings at, but they just want to droop. There are nubs that you can use to pinch the wings into a more natural looking splayed pose, which need helping with flat pliers to get into place. It looks the best like this, but takes up the most space.
The head/neck articulation all feel really good. The texture and paint overall look great, there's a few glossy spots in seams but nothing gratuitous. There's probably a better way to display it besides the plastic stand it comes with, might have to make a marionette and hang it up like a plant.
