On the other hand, your hate for faux parts is just a matter of taste unrelated to engineering. In fact, using the same piece for both modes is less impressive from an engineering standpoint. You can have either good or bad engineering when using faux parts and the same can be said about a design that don't use them, that's what you completely fail to understand.
