>>8998994Exactly. Around BB-09, with the birds, that's about the last you see of this blocky, exaggerated, clearly robotic but not yet greebly style they've got going on now.
They were starting to get there with the hippo and the rhino, but they hadn't completely abandoned it yet. They still have the huge, cartoony eyes, but they are clearly covered in more machined detail than the elephants, trikes, jojos or dios.
Everything past that is just zoids lite.
