>>8518187Battle Tribes has great potential but absolutely baffling drops. They should be using all their molds together to create themed drops with variety. Instead 90% of their drops are "spam most recent mold in a mix of random colors and overdone homages"
Both BT and Warlords of Wor should be collaborating on drops that utilize their not insignificant parts library. Imagine waves of figures designed from the ground up to really work well together, including figures kitbashed into new characters from multiple molds the way toypizza does. Just because some pieces are on a mold together doesn't mean those parts HAVE to be released together. Warlords of Wor in particular have some of my favorite glyos figures in Bognar and Clawwber but even their release waves are often disappointing despite me loving the individual figures.
The waves pictured are the kind of thing they should be doing more of. I think everyone would agree the tron and doom waves are among the very best they've done, whereas the one at the top has lots of variety and the one at the bottom while having no figures that I really like, at least has a clear theme and the figures go well together. It takes lackluster figures and makes them better, and makes great figures absolutely soar.
Thank you for coming to my ted talk.
