I've got Nonnef parts for Sideswipe incoming but in my impatience I decided to touch up Siege Sideswipe some. I was able to remove the battle damage off his waist with sandpaper but that wasn't gonna work for the shins, so I decided to go the full mile and just painted the battle damage away.
While I was at it, I decided to paint the forearms red to match the cartoon deco, but for whatever reason, the red paint didn't adhere well to the cream-white plastic. Normally I lightly sand surfaces with high-grade sandpaper to ensure it adheres well, but even after that, the red paint just won't stick. Even after drying it's slouching off pretty hard.
Is this an example of "unpaintable plastic"?
