The way McFarlane paints these up gives the illusion it's one giant piece, because we've never gotten decent paint apps until this point on the blocks. Plus, McFarlane puts thin 1 stud tall veneer pieces over any showing studs most of the time like pic.
So you can expand on any of these sets and build whatever you want. It's no different than what LEGO does, except with better paint and better plastics.
