>>11178630>This is how I felt about DCUC once upon a time, but lo and beholdI remember way long ago having a DCUC Harley Quin in my cart at Kmart, knowing she was going for $80 on ebay, way back in the day. She road in my cart all the way to the checkout line and i ditched her, because i didn't like how she looked. The body was generic. The skin was too green. I knew the engineering on DCUC figures were shit.
I didn't collect any other DCUC figure, because of how bad they looked compared to other lines back in the day, so why would i keep her?
I knew they'd eventually make another Harley Quin that didn't look as bad as that one did. Whether it was Mattel finally improving (LOL) or some other company eventually picking up the license, but it would happen eventually.
And this is my outlook on how i buy toys. If i don't think it looks like i think the figure should, where it can stay on my shelf forever and ever, without need of being upgraded, I'm not buying shit. Pic is something i doubt will ever be topped. It only took a fucking decade after that DCUC figure was released and we're closing in on a decade since she's been released too.
There's a lot of important, popular comic characters I don't own, because they all have something wrong with them that i don't like. Most of those are Marvel characters, but I'm still waiting on a non-Elseworld, non-villainized, Superman.
