One of the things I loved so much about the original doll was the way they posed her in the box which made her look more grown up,and curvaceous. I guess they didn't want easily triggered modern day chubby soccer moms to see an actual attractive Barbie doll sitting on a shelf next to the new body forward SJW approved Barbie doll bodies, and start protesting in front of toy stores.
