>>9156411Oddly, Redeemer (the one from issue 31 anyway, not Antispawn or later Redeemers afaik) was kind of a mirror opposite of Al in life in that he was a churchgoing guy who was working in soup kitchens who went to heaven vs Al who was a trained killer who went to hell.
Only issue then becomes once Redeemer goes to heaven he just gets turned into something that is basically just a Spawn for Heaven so ends up not much different.
In any attempted dichotomy between Spawn and Malebolgia, Spawn is basically just the Fool, while Malebolgia was the Trickster. But those aren't necessarily as compelling a dichotomy as Order vs Chaos.
