>>8016139Wow, that's quite a theory but I find it really hard to believe. Nothing about the line really jumps out at me as Zelda-ish apart from what you said which isn't much. I was a kid during the time they were released and I always felt that they were more Power Rangers inspired and wanting to recreate their Bionicle success.
I think if they wanted to cash in on Zelda they should have had more creatures and dungeon like sets. Instead it seemed like all their other castle sets except blander imo. Castles, siege stuff and so on. These sets bored me so much the only thing I liked was the helmets of the minifigures and if I remember correctly some of them didn't even stick on very well. I think the black knights helmet just kind of awkwardly sat on the head because the armor kept it from sticking or maybe it was all of them? Idk. Sets bad. No like. Would be way better if they were Four Swords inspired probably.
