Anon I'm 28 years old. I own all the sets I want from the current wave. I bought pic related for my nephews in September. This remains 1/2 lego gifts I bought this year. This is by design. I've been done with my Christmas shopping for everyone else -which isn't lego- since October. Upon looking at the new sets for next year on their site I noticed everything was out of stock. Seeing as how it is a few days until Christmas, Lego made a major mistake here in missing out on last minute panic buying that will arrive late anyway. Those potential sales are now lost.

Pic related I've seen a lot of people like, but I agree that this year's ninjago waves have strayed a bit too far from the types of settings and builds I want from ninjago.
Next wave is supposedly jungle themed, which could be better than "video games" and "knights"
