And I didn't do the reinforced joints, looking back I probably should have but it seemed a bit too frightening to do.
The engineering on these is fine and the instructions are solid so if you're willing to put in the effort and get the drills you'll be fine, but these aren't exactly newbie-friendly. On the plus side, you don't have to paint them at all! Unlike disgusting Koto paint their base colors look really fucking great!
