>>7752146They're lazy enough that I believe it. He should've just been Boba Fett after escaping the Sarlacc. Maybe he ditched the jetpack after the Tatooine mishap. There's no reason to invent a whole new IG droid either. He's a droid, you can just re-build him. There's no such thing as death for them unless they get completely melted down or their personality chip or whatever gets destroyed. Feels like they're trying to avoid copyright infringement.
