This is why we got things like Spider Arcee. They'd find a mold that had vague similarities to a character, and use it. The Beast Machines Snarl mold had a bearded look, so they could make it Alpha Trion. When we did get vehicles, we got things like Jetstorm as Cyclonous because their jet modes look kinda similar, or RiD Prowl as G1 Sideswipe/Sunstreaker. Its not like today where there's well over a decade of new vehicleformers in a G1 style.
