You miss out on the Dataspike accessory Mafex's Robocop 1 had, but the second movie toy comes with great articulation, leg holster parts, and the best paintjob I've seen on a Robocop toy. Most companies, including Mafex's 1, go with a flat silver for his armor plates, while the Mafex 2 manages to get the iridescent reflection pretty well (the purple-blue shine effect).
Me personally, I'm not doing a lot of crazy posing with him, so I made the choice strictly based on what colour robocop is in my mind, rather than how often I'd pose him stabbing people in the neck.
