>>9113138It can't be understated just how influential Mcfarlane was in the 90s/2000s. I mean look at Cy-gor, in just two years they went from left to right. In this era with 2.0s and updates every 5 years how many can say they took a leap this big in just two years? 98 Cy-gor is still better than a lot of stuff today.
Also while the presculpted poses are hated now, pre ML articulated was usually so substandard anyway the preposes gave them a more dynamic sculpt that made them more playable. I don't mean like GI Joe ARAH or the chogokin Power rangers figurines, but more like the TMNT or Kenner Star Wars stuff with limited 5 PoA. At least giving them tensed muscles and dynamic leg poses made playing with them more exciting.
