The EX colorway is perfect and that toy head makes the figure for me. In terms of decepticon, their Cyclonus (Tyr) is good as well, though if you want a decepticon variant of hammond, they're doing an Exhaust and a Slicer as well, with nice new heads and more interesting color schemes, IMO.
