I should point out that I buy Japanese products at their outrageous prices, not because i think it's better made, but because its usually the only way to get a character. Sometimes they do have better sculpts or better paint, but I'm not deluded enough to believe it's because it cost 2-5x more. They just had a better sculptor than the competition (Japanese artists are paid less than American artists, btw) or did a different take, such as Hasbro's Gwen based on the earlier art vs Mafex's Gwen based on art from the solo series (I own both, because i like both takes).
I've bought Russian shit that's made for children's sandboxes for $80 because it's the only option available probably forever and ever. I don't need to lie to myself that it's because it's better in any way just because i paid so much for it.
But again, here you are defending your Organic Beats that are Gluten Free featuring 99.01% pure silver-coated Monster Cables and that they must be better because you paid $2-5x more for it.
