But at least for me, the fiction can flesh out a cool toy and motivate me to buy more boring figures because they're connected. IMO Man-At-Arms is at least as boring as Teela and has this bizarre fashion sense where he wears a caveman loincloth over tights like he thinks he's a gadgeteer superhero in a primitive world. But building Roboto (minicomic, 200X) and especially recognizing that as a father/son relationship (Rev) makes me want him more.
And yes, this means I'd be a sucker for any new characters who are connected to Mosquitor.
