I can't blame them for making budget toys for this series, considering how poorly Amazon series has been doing and other LotR lines aren't all that hot.
Maybe if it does well, they'll invest in a better line. If you don't remember, their CoD line at first had pretty basic articulation. The second wave was then modernized.
That said, i'll buy these figures solely for the troll.
Also, who wants a gigantic cardboard castle? It's supposed to be in scale with the figures, but i think they mean the door is big enough for a figure to fit through. At $25, that's cheap enough to be tempting, especially since other companies charge $50 for cardboard that's only like 15" wide.
