It's hard to find examples, because it's not very noticeable on NRFB dolls, and people usually just throw out the ruined clothes on loose dolls. But basically anything made with a thin layer of PVC over a fabric backing will eventually rot. It can be shiny like this Barbie, pearly like Shana's dress, or matte like my next example.
