Update on my USS Texas too since we're posting botes, I know that 20-B deck blue and 5-N navy blue are different colors but I'm not bothering to differentiate since they're so fucking close to identical colors anyways.
I made my own 5-N mix using 2:1:1 Tamiya XF-17 : XF-18 : XF-8. I think it's not the perfect color, but it's very hard to get an exact match either way. Straight XF-17 (Sea Blue) is way too dark, and XF-18 (Medium Blue) is too light.
I also assembled and painted it pretty stupidly and rushed it quite a bit, I assembled almost everything figuring because it's all the same color in measure 21, I could get away with it, but it did make airbrushing really a pain in the ass and I'm gonna stick with painting and then assembling next time I build another ship.
