>>6295246>Movie fans get EVERY SINGLE MAJOR CHARACTER as a toy multiple times every timeBut we don't really care about that. We'd be content with just ONE really good figure of the character. Its not my fault Hasbro went full retard and started doing lines completely different from how they where doing things for a solid 25 years before that.
>and now you're going to have THREE Master Piece figures in a year.WOAH THREE WHOLE FIGURES that are probably only a little better than things we where getting as regular releases a few years ago.
>Movie fans are spoiled rotten, they are like the other side of the coin of the geewunn people. You literally won the fandom wars. How so? The movies may be successful monetarily, but a most of the money doens't come from fans. movie watchers are more tourists than residents, and are seen as such and with disdain by the fandom at large.
>The movies will be the new G1, and 10 years from now when we're on Bumblebee #5 nobody will even remember G1 existing and all new toys will be movie relatedHa. All Hasbro has done is use the movies to pump up G1 and G1 characters even when they conflict with their Bayformer counterparts. Bumblebee is a perfect example. Movie Bee and G1 Bee are effectively different characters, yet Hasbro pushed G1 Bee, a long forgotten character who had successfully replaced by Hot Shot, and propped him up as a tentpole character despite not having a new toy since literally before I was born and being unknown to anyone in my generation. With the exception of tFP, which did mimic movie Bee, Hasbro's been pushing a Bumblebee that's been entirely different from the actually popular movie BB, just because they share a name. Samething for characters like ratchet or Ironhide or Sideswipe, who had been relegated to name reuses. Do we get a black Ironhide or yellow Ratchet or silver Sideswipe in the newer cartoons? No, we got ones that homage the G1 incarnations and take some superficial movie elements.
