>>7024229The main thing was switching from using actual screws in every hole to just using a few screws and fake rivets for the rest. Using actual fasteners is expensive and a pain since the holes don't always line up exactly. The problem with the fake rivets is that the holes are a little too small and will need to be drilled out.
There are also a lot of parts that need to be made or remade. You'll see some pieces held on by scotch tape since I haven't made the angle irons to connect them, or they broke.
Treads. 136 of them, and I plan to cast them all in resin whenever I get around to machining a master. Five parts per tread too, with 8 holes to tap. Road wheels and return rollers likewise only exist in CAD form.
Last there's the details like hinges and MG mounts. I think I'll just have those 3d printed by Shapeways though, so that one's not a big deal.
