Some Polynians aren't true and pure Polynians but sort of human robot copies. These are called Motoroids. Pinkle and Torin and all other mouthless Polynians are Motoroids.
As a toyline, Polynians are tied and meant to help promote a WIP visual novel. Normally Polynian thread OPs have some data with links to the Daibadi site, which has a bunch of data about them and visual novel snippets you can read, as well as art and mini comics.
