>>11418442>>11418441Could work but for some reason I feel apprehensive about destroying the neck. Here's how the head is on the body as of now. It kinda just sits there but can move around since it's basically friction fit. I also like that it can look up. I feel the peg itself isn't doing much at all. Maybe not ideal but I figure if I want to go more in depth I can do it later. The little hump the head gives in the back I don't care for but if I whittle it down I'm concerned the head won't sit there anymore. If I try and mold more to it to connect more to the body it won't be able to look up... am I making this all more complicated than it needs to be? To try and match the body to the heads color I was thinking dry brushing so that the black of the body acts like a blackwash. Is that a dumb idea? Here's a pic of how it looks.
Also see the little turret thing that Pterry is sitting on? I was in the dollar store and I always pass by the toys since I like cheap little things I can tinker with. This turret seemed pretty neat for 1.25 and its bad dragon rods are even spring loaded. I'd like to doctor up its color to at least look weathered. Would a black wash do? Do you recommend more than that?
