I have trimmed some plastic from that black tab behind his neck and from the lower part of his head. It allows the backpack to sit flush with his back without pushing the neck joint backwards. It also allows him to look "up" and tilt his head more. I also trimmed some plastic from his armpits so that he can fold his arms across his chest more convincingly. I've done those mods to all my seekers. On starscream, I gave him a dark grey panel line wash and painted in several details. I also added bullets weights inside his thighs and calves to give him a "diecast" feel. It also helps with balance.
