>>6962443McFarlane's blocks are about as good as LEGOs blocks. They feel a little harder, but they always snap tight. Just watch out for tiny little pieces like fence wires and such. Since they do finer details, they can break if you try and bend them to more than 90° angles.
Much much better QC than MegaBloks. They're like LEGOs in that respect.
And their figures have limited poseability, so they're better than army men. Not even close to being as articulated as MEgaBloks minifigures, but these fucking sets are so damn nice and I want to see my variety and non-LEGOy looking scenery for building blocks.
I don't know what you mean in terms of well executed brick sets, but with sets like these, you can build a almost modeler quality road for miles from this.
Only vehicles seem limited, because they have some unique parts, but stuff like the winnebago you can easily convert into ghetto mobile homes. Everything else they make is basically reused pieces, so prison = tower = all the south park sets = some of the steven universe stuff = most of the five night at freddys stuff.
Only the coloring and weathering of the blocks makes them look unique.
