By marginal demand anons wanted the Animated/Beast Wars/Movie bin so I'm doing that one. Strap in for that for probably another four months.
I love this goofy guy and his football shaped body. The enormous underbite and little hooks for arms have so much personality. All the gold trim paint looks great. I haven't played with a non-vehicle toy in a while so it's nice to see a toy that doesn't blow it's paint budget on making up for clear windows.
It's a beast mode from anytime before now so don't expect too much articulation.
Big ball joints in the hips have a very wide range of motion, knees bend a good amount at both joints and he even has ankles kind of.
But the body from head to tail is totally static so splaying or bending his legs as much as you want won't get you a very dynamic look.
A neck swivel or a hinge to let him look left and right would have gone miles. Might have made this one of the best toys in the line in my opinion.
But the the press button for Mouth Opening Action™ wouldn't work.
