The 'turning grey' theme is carried on in this mode (it's the form he actually died in), and while it's intended to depict him dead, I still really like the effect a lot more than the normal release's colors. 'Battlefield Rung', included with him, turns into a plasma caster of some sort (yes, I know he's supposed to be a Matrix-making pen in the comics, but that's not what he's specified to be in this continuity). Between the length of his weapon mode's 'stock' and the bulk of UM's armored gauntlets, his handle/peg doesn't actually fit all the way into UM's hand; he can still somewhat hold him, but i find it better to mount him into the peg on the side of UM's arm instead, a la Megatron's cannon.
