>>9803493>For better or worse, we overwhelmingly do.It's basically only in modern times where people have a problem with that shit, since the past couple of generations are completely disconnected from the horrors of real life outside of cities and suburbs.
Hence so many vegetarians, vegans, and people like
>>9803028We're talking about a series about killing terrorists, with a large part of that audience being fanatical about the terrorist organization. How disconnected is everyone to not realize how fucked that is as a concept? At least kids aren't fully aware of how all the weapons all their toys can harm people, but adults? What's wrong with them? To complain about some diorama scenes is probably the least fucked up thing all their toys are supposed to do in the stories for GI Joe.
Obviously, everything is fictional, so why even worry and complain? They're fun toys and you should have fun with them murdering the fuck out of each other.
>>9803552>Game of thrones level of violence wasn't seen in tvs Game of Thrones is an HBO show, and HBO has shown super violent shit since the channel started in the 70s.
Network television has shown gory shit too, back in the 90s, like Saving Private Ryan with almost no editing.
Cable channels started following suit, if they werent originators in keeping editing to a minimum. Of course, they didn't really have original programming to match that sort of content, because cable stations were too poor until the 00s.
