It'd take a lot of work to actually fix the Uni and make it more worthwhile, since the "core" gameplay for it is dollhouse sim with character dressup mechanics, but even that execution's scuffed due to how limited the inventory is.
As for Paradise and potential revisions, I wouldn't hold my breath personally unless Japanese fans make a stink about the UI or other elements people dislike about it. Bandai's surprisingly good about listening to Japanese fans and their tastes, off the top of my head, Entama -> CYOI Entama comes to mind (where people complained about how horribly grindy the games were in the original), and more recently, the character design philosophy change (due to Omisecchi/Plus-era nostalgia being a massive boom in Japan along with vintage fans returning to the franchise, Plus characters are used everywhere for collabs and merchandising while Paradise focuses more on vintage design philosophy, with iDL-Meets-era characters being mostly shelved outside of getting nickel-and-dimed by Uni DLC). It's all down to JP fans complaining about things, and so far, the most I've seen have been gripes about how you're forced to delete your oldest in the field when you have more than four rather than choosing.
I don't have much faith West-side, since the English-speaking fanbase outside of sites like here focus way more on the character/shell aesthetics rather than the actual content, so you see people showing off their gene mixes or whatever rather than actually talking about the game, or alternatively talking up the Uni for being "low-maintenance" and dressing them up.
