I'd say that even the wrinkling on the Mafex evokes Miller's style a lot more than the cloth bodysuit. Also there's still the issue of the Mezco head having the pinched cowl shape, which holds true even compared to the art you posted.
Now if you're going for that really gritty unadulterated Miller aesthetic, the battle-damaged Mafex absolutely stomps in that department with the prominent lips on both Bruce and Batman sculpts.
