>>8737195It was a bit too kiddyish, and Disney was pretty intent on Disney-fying it in the first few seasons, so much so that a lot of people gave up on the show. Then there’s the art change to make it less detailed and without flair to make it look “eye catching for younger audiences”. Because somehow making things look worse means kids will like it more? What sort of drugs were they on...? Plus there were a lot of episodes that went nowhere. I know that The Clone Wars had episodes that went nowhere, but at least they could have slightly more mature themes in it. The going nowhere episodes in Rebels felt like a 6 year old telling you a story about a story one of his friends told you about a video game he played that he didn’t understand the story of.
