>>6885097>>6885063Even though that faggot further up says I'm lying to conceal my "irrational" hared of DCC, I actually did like the BTAS figures. There were a few design choices I didn't like, though, and the character selection was all sorts of bizarre.
I didn't like that they went with the sloppier Joker model. His original animation model clearly had his shirt hanging out (pic related). But there were a few episodes where they just drew a straight line across. Also, the face wasn't the best. Not bad, but some of the ones in the Expressions pack are better, although some are also like WTF.
Because of how the Joker turned out, I was terrified that promo pics of Riddler with a priest collar were going to be the final deco. I like to think me sending them the actual animation model was what saved it from shipping with the wrong deco.
Harley's mask, around her ears, was painted weirdly too.
The visible peg holes on the hips in wave one was stupid too. The prototypes didn't have them but somehow they shipped that way. I know they went back and reissued Catwoman at least but stores weren't keen on guaranteeing your order would be the fixed version. BBTS just lumped it onto the same listing as the screwed up one.
TNBA Two Face was a strange choice. The designs are so similar, there was no need to go with the inferior version.
Honestly leading with any TNBA designs was weird. The only TNBA design out of all of them that I liked better was Penguin, because I hated Burton and Devito's mutant version. I skipped it thinking the new Penguin would eventually come out. Also skipped TNBA Scarecrow hoping they'd go back to the BTAS one (maybe with a swappable head) but that never happened either.
