I'm not sure how to describe this without writing an essay, but y'know how old SW had that cool looking guy in the background? and they made a figure of him, and that was "your guy" who you made adventures with?
well you can do that for New SW, but with like, the main people. just ignore the dumb "story" from the actual movie, and create your own.
I do wish [anybody] would do more of the new background characters. every movie or show tries hard to have their own "Cantina" scene with a gazillion background characters, yet NONE of them get any merch at all. not even Lego where it could be super easy, barely an inconvenience, to toss in a couple extra randos in each set
