Gunpla is actually inexpensive compared to those figures, since you can build a ~5" Zaku or whatever for like $10-20. Whereas those mini-figures are like 2.5" tall and cost ~$25.
Maybe MegaBloks shit is inexpensive relatively speaking, but i got this 1:18 Bradley for $22.99 back in the day while a MegaBloks Bradley was nearly $60 a few years later.
As much as i like miniscale stuff, they're way too expensive for what they are. They're fun and have a lot of great designs, but definitely not affordable compared to stuff that is.
