>>7134744>I'm just trying to be objective here>The license is for SFV but Figuarts is obviously going for SFII styleLOL dude.
You're just reaching hardcore to explain away why Bandai made such a poor quality effort in making the toys and there's nothing objective about that.
You're trying to rationalize why the toys look nothing like the license they're using, by pretending that they're based on SF2 pixels because they're so vauge in detail, despite characters like Sakura not being licensed from SFV and didn't even appear in SF2.
With Sakura and Cammy, their sprites are actually more detailed and you actually start to see fine enough details that the artist's style starts to become noticeable.
It doesn't even make sense to base the figures on the fucking sprites when the sprites themselves are based on Akiman's, Bengus' etc's art
> the inconsistencies. You say SC Chun Li has more realistic eyes in person. But that ignores the unrealistic man-handsShit dude, have you even looked at the game? It's why i posted the screenshots. The character models are almost identical to what SC sculpted, right down to the manhands. I agree that the shoulders are too large, but that's just the nature of how the joints are constructed. It's like me bitching about the tumors on Figmas, the peg holes on MLs, or the gaping pits on Figuarts. It's an acceptable concession for the sake of adding a joint there.
>both figures have their pros and cons. Yes, this is true, but not looking like what the license is based off of is a HUGE con. Again, it's not surprising if Bandai ditched the license because of poor sales, while SC is expanding on their lines. Collectors generally like accuracy.
