>>6863017I think it’s pretty bad engineering-wise. They’re competing with SHF, Sentinel and Comicave at similar pricepoints but all of the competition has significantly more advanced engineering. Without the cloth it really stands out that the Mezco buck design philosophy is basically Toy Biz era Marvel Legends but 8-10 times the price. The unnecessary greebling ruins the classic Iron Man look too, which would otherwise have been the figure’s USP vs Sentinel’s stylised take and Comicave, SHF, etc doing movie designs. The stealth version is a slight improvement at least.
Although it’s not a perfect figure the Sentinel Armorize Iron Man actually scales perfectly with Mezco figures, and it’s probably the most comic-accurate anyone’s ever made. Beware the metallic version, looks nice but the QC is beyond awful.
