They are almost perfectly a true army of the Jango Fett who fought Obi-Wan and got the best of him. They went overboard with their power scaling. Remember in the Clone Wars show like 2-3 named ARC Troopers basically solo'd the defense of the invasion of Kamino.
Its only in Dave Filoni's Clone Wars do they fuck up ARC troopers. Because Filoni is great at taking Legends material and destroying it but because he named dropped it people love him. In Legends there were only a 100 of them.
