I know from talking to other boomer Dads that if they had seen He-Man and Skeletor in stores they would have bought them for their kids. We didn't even make it to naked Stratos wave, things froze here with wave 5. All I heard was "hey anon, they only have Fisto and Evil Lyn in town. Wasn't she yellow?"
But the real nail in the coffin was the dreadful Netflix shows. Super7 had the insight to make a new filmation style video which would have had the potential to go viral.
Is there a film/tv equivalent of Sweet Baby? Revolutions might have done better if it wasn't so alienating to the fanbase.
