While enclosed, the inside is still a plastic tray with a plastic covering that holds everything down. Contrast that with what was going to be Nendoroid's new box type where everything is cardboard, no sign of plastic at all. Besides, even GSC has figmas packaged in an enclosed box. The figma Styles figures like the Armed JK's for example have no window on them, of course you still had to open them from the top unlike Bandai's SS box opening up like a model kit box but it's not a Bandai only thing.
